How stuff works magazine I bought.

How stuff works magazine I bought.

Oh fikken yippee do. After 3 days off work in pretty much rested and it's back to the grind stone, which is ok - I mean yeah I'm pretty tired of being rested and looking forward to writing some code but can't but feel, by convention, pretty bummed to be ending my weekend. Pretty great though that I didn't this weekend and during my time off.

So basically for my time off I did about 10kms worth of running, gaming and - oh bugger I did do some coding this weekend - worked on iPhone app. But that's fine it's not work coding it's Stuart coding and I digg that so I'm cool with that.
When I got sick of recovering in front of the TV with my protein drink, I headed into town. Bought a cool magazine, "How it works" which is surprisingly interesting. I woke up this morning to the raging traffic outside and then actually reached for it and read a few articles(Gallelio space probe and some stuff about space junk in the earths orbit...) from it this morning.

Had a but if a surprise this morning in the bathroom. I had decided to charge by electric toothbrush last night and switched it on in my mouth and in shock I nearly flicked the stupid thing over my head. luckily it didnt "fling along side me into the toilet - that'd be a bad day. Luckily I didn't. I was awake now.

Also to complete my weekend last night I finally transcended to to Linux Laptop and tapped a few keys(I'd been wanting to do that for a while now) which made me feel slightly good - that said I did nothing, absolutely nothing productive on it besides download Google chrome browser and tweet-deck. So yeah. that's how my life happened before my own eyes last night. very sad. but very me.

I'm not sure what the weather has got in store for me today but i hope its rainy and if and it isn't rainy can it please be sunny. that's all I ask.

Weirdly I'm thinking about what I'm going to have for lunch - looks like my crummy yoghurt and dried apricot pieces isn't quite doing it for me.

Bubba - our most intelligent programmer

Bubba - our most intelligent programmer

Found a pretty cool radio station yesterday, was listening to it for most of the day while programming. I was chuckling all the way through it. Id love to re-read my code comments to see how they were affected. There was one that really got me laughing out loud was Robin Williams' impressions of a Scotsman...'ag' - so funny.

I've got another few totally stupid and unreasonable questions today.

Why do people speak in different languages?

Do animals speak in different languages?

How long could you breath in your own air for?

Where does humour come from?

That's all I got today.

Arcade near Bond street

Arcade near Bond street

Bit tricky getting out of bed this morning. Went through my 'list' - of things to do in life and I realised that I need to probably set higher goals as it seems that my current goals a little bit, well, easy - then again they've got to be kinda as setting realistic, non-achievable expectations is worse I think. Whatever, so that gave me enough time to sufficiently procrastinate for a further 30 minutes after midnight.

Pretty tired and sore due to a) lack of sleep and b) exercise. Really need to rest better - my body needs that. That said, I'm thinking of taking a week off work in the next couple of days, really just to rest and forget about work really.

Got into the tube this morning, and sat at one of the far sides of the seating areas - where people board. I gave my seat to a pregnant lady which was cool by me but I have a sneaky plan next time. Sit in the middle of the seating region so as to be less needed to give up a seat as those on the fringes. I know, it's terrible but if you had to decide why and what are the advantages o sitting in the middle - there you have it. Terrible :-)

I can feel the heat already when I woke up this morning so I reckon we're in for a burner. I've been for the last week been developed a mini-need for soft drinks on the way to work and home which I'm deciding to give up in lieu of me having seen the dentist on Saturday and generally being very freaked out by my first hi-def pictures of my mouth and teeth. That said, with the heat it's real easy to want a drink so I'm going go with more healer drinks in the morning - maybe like ice tea or something.

Can't wait to get out of this tube, it's hot an squished.
