Ok to that's Wednesday out the way. Which kinda makes me feel that it mustn't really - Wednesdays are awesome. Not only do you know that tomorrow is one day away from Friday but also that you've left Monday all alone to think about what he's done.
Pretty cool day today actually, needed to finish up on some piece of work which I did and enjoyed doing it. Found inspiration in the unlikeliest of places - Kelly Clarkson via Spotify - don't ask how that's possible. I don't know. What I do know is the last 30 minutes with my headphones got me in a good mood and finished my work. How cool is that. Its pretty cool ok.
Had myself a magic lunch, Spaghetti-maderne or something like that. Basically spagetti bol with added anchovies - which I liked hugely. Grabbed a superb honey & dried fruit yoghurt bucket and thoroughly enjoyed finishing up lunch like that way.
Found myself doodling a lot today, besides the 2 meetings today and discovered that perhaps that calms me down a bit or at least helps keeps my attention focused - probably doesn't but I think I enjoyed distracting myself today.
Saw a Ferrari and Lamborghini outside on display which was great. Lamborghini's really are only cool in Yellow I think while Ferraris are way cool in Red - the two outside did wonders to that train of thought. Love to robo-cop cone transformers approach to opening doors that the lambo's use. Now that I come to think about it - I didn't even take pictures, hmmm - I think lunch was on my mind and the detour past them to get my pasta seemed way more important at the time.
Twitter got back to me and said that my open source app I wrote posed a risk for them because I publish the IDs and keys I use - so I'm not sure I want to go to the effort of doing anything about it.
On the way to work today, i finished my "How stuff Works" mag which was great. Nothing like a mag that whines to be read. Chucked that into the trash along with a ginseng drink I'd just before I headed in. Anyway. I'm on the train heading home, feeling pretty good, left early and thinking a run and a gym session is in order....

Man, I had some real strange thinking last night. First I wondered if you could ,in theory, if you needed a big enough sneeze, could dislocate your shoulder say if you where hanging from a horizontal pole with your hangs clinging overhead...picture it. See what I mean? sudden jerk? Oh. ok.
Then (and this is the reason I goto sleep only around 2am - brain doesn't know how to stop ) I wondered about countless other stuff which I remember saying I'd remember when I woke but now I can so I don't know. That's pretty frustrating, I can't even remember my own thoughts. I'd take a pen and pad to bed but that's just wierdo speak right there.
Watched a hilarious movie last night which was quite moving called "Dan in real life" - ok that also helped me goto bed at stupid 'o clock. Funny woke up not so shattered. It was about some guy who is windowed and is stuck in the middle of life with 3 daughters growing up. He's pretty stuck but finds unlikely unlucky good times. Frikken funny. Steve Carell - enough said.
Here's a random piece of info: im beginning to get real sick of the tube. Like say you're sitting down, you always have some beauty standing right in front of you and run out of places to look and you want to give her your seat but you kinda don't. Cruel world.
Another great thing about watching movies is movie music - I franticly shuffle for my iPhone when I hear a song I like, Shazam it up and then spotify it next day at work and listening to it on the way home on my phone.
Wrote such a looney email to someone on the tube yesterday, the kind of email that makes you stop and laugh a bit in your head. I love being able to goof around like that.
Had a momentary thought this morning, just before breakfast, to setup the XBox at work on my desk and use it at lunchtimes, early and late days - the XBox is not used nearly consistently enough as it should. Don't know why I thought about that but there you go. Maybe it's because I'm in denial for not getting to play mine.
Now thinking about it, I used Tweet My everything at least 3 times yesterday at work to tweet my screen and it seemed so natural for me to need something and then write something to get it. Amazingly satisfying.
Been doing some serious admin at work which is way-way strange - I think I've forgotten how to use a keyboard. Next time I use it I'll probably look like I'm having a fit, randomly tapping at the keyboard like I baby does. ha funny mental image there made me smile.

A colleague asked me on Friday, whilst leaving the office, what I was doing over the weekend. I pretty much said, "yeah, nothing - running". That is, I said I'd do quite a bit of running this weekend(I speak fluent Stuart). That's all I could come up with at the time. Didn't sound like a massively eventful weekend(and that became apparent to me) and its weird because I kinda,at the time, thought it must or should. It was a little later that I felt my weekend almost had a critical audience, but whatever - I just stuck with what I knew at the time - you see, I pretty much have a plan in life which extends no further than 2 hours before me and I knew I always go running over the weekend so... But then i realised that really my weekend doesn't have to be anything other than what it is(ah what?) and shouldn't have to meet or match anyone's weekend expectations.
And then i realised, id been a victim of the "Weekend matchers" - those that put your innocent weekend against the wall and see if it meets the grade. Yeah, you know who you are! I shape my lips and pffft.. disdainfully in your general direction!
I know this has painfully gotten to the point where ive really oversubscribed to this topic but you kinda get stuck in between other people's opinions and needs that, I think, you start aligning yours with theirs - and it's so easy.(yes I'm still taking about just a weekend!)
That said, I kinda enjoyed my uneventful weekend, ran 11km's over the whole weekend and had a few good gym sessions to compliment it. Tried on my older running shoes, the ones that make me look like a hobo, and naturally they performed way better than my nicer, cooler-looking ones, which pleased me and disgusted me all at the same time. What that fundamentally meant was that I had for the first time, no blisters however, I seem to have replaced them with a stiff, rather achy body.
Also, headed into town, watched the new Pirates of the Caribbean which was .....er, long. Which, rather pleasingly, reminded me how absolutely beautiful Penelopez Cruz is and the need to visit Spain.
Then, well I pretty much finished off the weekend by completing a workable release my newest piece of software which is basically a twitter client.
hmmm. Now that seems like a lot to me, but is it really? Probably not but that's very, in fact, extremely, massively fine by me :-)
