ok so I'm back after a day at home, a dentist appointment and a pizza fiasco. I guess I only realise how back I am when is when I'm on the tube, I'm late and I decide to plug into my iPod and then realise I can blog.
Yeah, so the dentist was unbelievably expensive - I nearly died in shock/horror, that and that the dude was 30 mins late - but I'm easy about waiting. I think I need to get rid-e-o of my sweet tooth(teeth) The pizza thing was that I ordered 2 pizzas last night and reordered again due to a blip in the purchasing system at Dominos. So I got 4 pizzas. Worst thing is that I ordered a tuna and corn pizza(which I don't usually do) and now I got two of them... But I wasn't going do the whole drama of phoning them up, dealing with the 2 rogue pizza orders blah blah - I just took them and said cheers.
Was up until past 2am this morning catching up the days work because when I got back to my apartment(after the dentist) maybe it was the local anesthetic, but I couldn't concentrate and was out for six at around 16:00. I woke up 2 hours later with an assignment to complete as well as a whole bunch of work to do for work.
I'm somewhat rockstar-eyed right now. Didn't even grab a last-second chomp out of any of the remaining 3 large pizza selections on my way out. Maybe it's the pace of things that remind me of my regression to recent normality.
Uploaded two new vids to my site - the vids were of the dudes at work mucking about with toy helicopters(it's the thing right now, and rightly so - those things are awesome!)and me last weekend perusing the local railway model show.
I started this post this morning, it's now afternoon - still pretty tired and as soon as 17:30 comes around...I'm outta here!

Weird. Dunno what it is but yesterday I just got up and started cleaning up my apartment. I think it was watching a doc on hoarding on the T.V. I even decided that I'd take out the trash right there and then(man, I had accumulated a stack of pizza boxes). After that I pretty much watched YouTube in the bath until I was pretty much a prune. Real funny though - was watching scenes from Ice Age, Family guy and revisiting clips I've marked as funny previously.
This morning, I woke up earlier than most times this week. Didn't help. Amusingly, I found the extra time that I had could and should be spent up wasting it up on browsing the web - so I did that until inexplicably late - so I used up what advantage I might have had. That's pretty amusing to me. I rediscovered the Cardigans and listened to them this morning, also most of my good mood yesterday was because of them and Sporify.
At work, I chilled out for lunch in or chill-out room which was warm, had a cottage pie and pretty much watched Movie trailers on the xbox for most of my lunch. Did a bit of browsing in my new app mag but the point is that I got a full hour of lunch in - no work...except that I was at work but you gonna have that and I suppose because of that, having a chill out spot is pretty cool. That reminds me: I need to buy a DVD for lunch - wanna watch something funny.
So, I bought myself a new mug. yeah, a mug. Was browsing Debanhans, saw the mug, wanted the mug, got the mug, have the mug. Weird? indeed, but don't have a mug strangely enough - you'd think I'd have one but I don't - just never needed one since I moved in. So anyway, I got one and I had a cup of coffee this morning...and well, it was ok... still. Bought coffee sachets that have coffee and milk built-in, by default, as-it-comes - why hadn't I known about this before? frikken brilliant! But I'm not a huge coffee drinker so well have to see how far that goes...
Looked out the window this morning and from my fourth floor view, I could see the leaves fluttering around like scared butterflies and the wind howling like a wolf. Cold. Very cold. Grey and pretty much your worst nightmare(no rain though...). Ok, it's not that bad... funny I've always said this but the worse the weather is, the more I like it. I've been looked upon very strangely before on saying this. Fair, I suppose - that's just one of my many quirks...
Just got to the gym, after a rather unawesome session. I'm tired. Anyway bought Ice Age trilogy, Toy story 3 and Kung fu panda DVDs at lunch - strolled over to HMV scouted for funny animations and was delighted to find those title. Started watching Kung fu panda during lunch. Will continue on Thursday(Working from home tomorrow). The guys in the office bought flying helicopters in, remote controlled - there was about 3-4 in the office - was so much fun. Probably didn't do enough work...

Had a pretty cool weekend this weekend. I bought stuff - that's going to do it isn't it? I trekked all over the place in one small day. It was Sunday. Sarurday I scoped out stuff. I've found if I get excited about buying something, I rather don't buy it and if I wake up the next day and I'm like I want it - then I go and get it. By that time I'll have tried it out and everything, so the essentials are out of the way.
Got myself a pair of shoes, jeans and a pair of causal chinos. I also bought myself a pair of noise isolating headphones - which I tested having lunch at a 'Family' restaurant, babies crying, kids running around, knocking stuff over - that sort of stuff and as soon as I put it my new headphones, it was like I was underwater - engulfed by a beat, rhythm and rhymes.
I was there so, I bought myself a massive ice cream, raspberry tower and that was awesome, that an a fruit salad - all of which was enjoyed in complete ignorance of perhaps me being the only single table being occupied, not noticing anything, fixed of my ice cream tower, fruit salad and playlist. Pitty I suppose but a great way to test headphones in real-world situations. Kudos to Seinheiser.
I went to the gym afterwards, 2.3k to the gym and 6k at the gym - which I'm pretty happy with. Got a cool new mag on Saturday all about the 500 most awesome apps for the iPhone and iPad(oh yeah- I still don't have one of those) which started me looking into game design. Found some really interesting resources of how to create games of the iPhone. Actually pretty cool, might try a very simple game one of these days...
Also went to a model railway show.
Ben waking up late. 8am to 8:15am. had a great last couple of work days - worked from home, in my pyjamas. I work better in my pyjamas.
Yeah that's pretty much it, of wait so I also updated my website. it got a new gallery for video and photos. Got rid o a few aspects that slowed down the pages loading.
Listening to the cardigans now.
