Building Evacuation

Building Evacuation

Today was actually a mixed bag. It was certainly different with an entire building evacuation(minus drama : it was a drill) but a bit of drama managed to unfold itself. In France, stuff worked, then stuff broke and generally went every which way. That's ok but it's a bit unsettling but whatever - we learn and move on.
The parts that worked were those that I explicitly went and rectified abd tested - so testing something obviously I'd pretty darn important!

Slightly agitated with myself digging myself a hole about something I should know very well. Amazed at how easily I didn't facilitate myself in the conversation. Apart from the obvious frustrations - things went generally OK.

Grabbed myself a cool lunch which was extended(yay) by the building evacuation.

Thats about it. Oh, wait actually i also witness a wonderful outward laugh today from a lady who I helped with her luggage, which did put me in a good mood.

Ok sweet my code is all checked-in and generally working fine. Got a conference call today with French people today. I love the French. especially the accent and especially the ladies. Coming to think about it, I've never come across a more lovely lady from France - ok maybe from Ireland (I'm stuck on the Irish talent) - moving on from this diversion...

It's going to be pretty hot but that makes lunch so much enjoyable and to be honest taking lunch is so much fun - 1 hour to do what you want - it's like a glimpse of the weekend everyday!!

My evening was spent nicely nessled in front of the TV, sofa and laptop, which considering my ambitions for that evening was utterly disastrous but wonderful compensation. Watched Notting Hill which I've seen plenty of but like Meg Ryan films, I get sucked in. At least two hilarious scenes had me gasping for air - I recorded them on my iPhone and tweeted them. Very funny.

For the second day running I've woken up at 4-5am which kinda sucks - it's easy to walk into things at that time of the morning - I walked into the wall by mistake - I woke up real fast.

missed brekkie yesterday so it was nice to grab a bowl before leaving today - I'm a bit late but I'll make it up today, I love that about working at App-DNA.

If you are intrigued about the title of this post, well it's because I grabbed a pair of socks this morning and they were labelled "Thursday" which I know is a bit ambitious seeing today is Tuesday. There you go :-)

Going by yesterday's forecast (see image) today is going to be much cooler - see I like cool stuff, knew today was going to be cool!

Sometimes Im bored on the tube, which I find is pretty easy for be to do!

Anyway, found a pretty fun stupid game where I try and guess what someones name is based on what there face looks like - maybe I'm just stupid(probable) but I 'know' what a 'greg looks like or even a 'kevin' or whatever - also you can normally tell what kind of person another is.

Are they funny, serious, naughty, irritable - do they feel compation or empathy. It's probably wierd but I think I know a friendly person from an unfriendly person. Usually people who read books are generally friendly but sone can be irritable.
Some people based in the way they position their bodies and then read the paper can tell you or not whether they feel superior to others. It's really cool actually. Generally people with glasses, the way they look at you, their age and the way they dress can tell me what type if person they are.

Only problem is, you kinda need to have a good look at them which I suppose looks pretty wierd - you lookin at me huh punk?!

You can also see pedantic people, I generally find cleanly shaved, glasses-wearing people are depantic and irritable. Pretty people are generally bad mannered but that can change based on gender - men are generally less badly mannered however, woman that dont look around or make eye contact are better mannered. But generally you just sense it - probably a coupling of body language and outward appearance.

Shy people seem to be more intelligent, louder people are more brash and stupid and conformist. Woman with sensible shoes wearing no sunglasses are more down to earth. People who hide their eyes with sunglasses have a definite facade. People that sleep instead of reading, are very tired. Ok the last one is just a joke!

Pink fingernails reading a book are confident. Sunglasses in the train are uncomfortable and know it. People who take their jackets off in the tube generally are confident. People who read magazines are generally trying to look like they are busy and have better things to do but also want to show it.

people with very thin fireframe glasses are generally clean, neat people.

People playing on their phones are people that don't know what they want to do. Men that carry backpacks are more prepared to take longer to do things, woman with back packs work too much and probably arent single.

People listening to iPods really are impatient. but depending on their attire this can be false. People who look at their watches when playing with their iPhones want people to see them.

That's all I have time for...trains stopping.
