so here's something strange, well strange recently. I've started to see a couple of people actually knitting on the tube. Now this is probably coincidence and no way means that young woman are dropping their iPods in favour of knitting needles but it is interesting. I've watched my mother knit my whole life until recently that is, now seeing it in London seems q but strange, but somehow reassuring and aesthetically pleasing.

Went to Windsor Castle and Hampton Court palace this weekend. I'm very impressed by these ancient structures and even more so by the history and the type of people and their attitudes and perceptions of the times. Unfortunately is did not see much of Windsor Castle as it closed when I arrived however, Eton was beautiful and well worth the trip. Hampton Court Palace was too very beautiful - all testament to Englands beauty and culture.

Tea breaks are great. Especially if it's an opportunity to discuss your silly, strange programming problems. The other good thing is you get to refill on caffeine! The discussions get interesting: imagine crazy programmers, crazy ideas and coffee!
