Went to get lunch and got myself some sushi and the lady said something along the lines of "good choice, that's nice and healthy" and because I was kinda chirpy, I said "I wouldn't eat if it didn't have to, it's just fuel to me" to which she replied "I wouldn't eat either, if I didn't have to, the problem is I eat too much" - and she was a rather big girl. I noticed my predicament right away and the 3 seconds between me hearing that and her handing me my sushi was the longest period, I feel, of the day.

i just smiled and didn't say a word and now i wish i kinda could have helped her out of it...aargh.
