I did things differently recently. Particularly with regards to my Wednesdays.  Want to know more? Well, its not much but as I don't go to the gym on a Wednesday, I figured I’d run to work instead of run from work. I left at 06:10 and got to work at 06:57 (about an hour).  Left work at 3pm.

That's a bit of a change – It was tough but I think it was easier running in the morning than running in the evening – especially for my ‘long’ run. Still was really tired after my run and didn’t have my usual post workout food because getting to work at 7am doesn’t give you much options in terms of buying anything to eat. The canteen only opens up at 8am. That said, I did negotiate a fruit salad that I’d pay for at 8am when it opened (they were in at 7am but not selling).

Today, a day after the run, I could definitely feel that getting up was easier – my legs and feet had more time to rest doing the run upfront in the morning.

I think I might make this part of the routine. I think its importantly to try and rest the body in anyway possible and this might be the break I need.
