Well another impressive day so far in terms of the unbelievable capacity of the human body. It continues to amaze me how strong the body is. I went for my run with my new headlamp and it was cool but I felt like a bit of a wierdo running in the suburban areas. Passed a few trick-or-treaters which was cool as they ‘booed’ at me – I think they were ghosts. Very atmospheric at the time too as it was dark and all I had was my head lamp. Passed a few others walking with their parents – must have been li’l ‘uns.

Ran with my Free motion running shoes and it was great. Felt lovely actually. One of the reasons why I would the newer Pegasus was because my feet would get really really tired and beat up after a while in the Free Motions. But seeing as it was a Monday and I had a great rest, the feet felt rejuvenated and responded very well. These shoes dont have a lot of support so your feet have to take on the forces more directly – in affect strengthening  them.

This early morning however, they felt a bit beat so it was a perfect time to switch to the Pegasus’. Felt good too. This morning was cold. The news person said it was going to be and boy was it! There was front and fog and for the first time my new zipp up top actually felt a bit compromising which was not the case yesterday where I though I might overheat! So its now a very good purchase as its forecast to be much colder moving forward. Looks like winter is here.
