I found out while in the bath(iPhones are cool) that I wouldn't get to my race the next day in ashford if I didn't get out of the bath now, book a hotel in Ashford and head there tonight. So that's what I did. What a rush.

Used google maps to figure out how far from my pickup the hotel is. I'll figure out what taxi to get when I get to Ashford International tonight by using a iPhone taxi app. Same for tomorrow, I'll get a taxi to grab me tomorrow at the hotel and take me to my pickup, which from there will get me to my race.

I'm heading to St. Pancreas international at the moment(writing this on my iPhone) and will be taking the next train to Ashford. I figured that in worst case scenario I'd have to walk 35mins to get to the hotel from the station(if I can't get a taxi). it I do walk, ill grab my iPhone and use the GPS to navigate me there. So cool. might just leave the taxi so I can do that!

Packed running shoes, shorts, top, running watch, heart rate Chest band and a few things in-between. got my laptop which if I don't got wifi at the hotel I can tether with my iPhone.(still need to read the race conditions for tomorrow!) - talk about levying thing to the last minute!

Probably get to the hotel by midnight and then straight to bed before checking out at 7am to get to the race!

Might sound pretty rushed but it's all pretty under control. Mind you this could have been waay easier but I don't mind, this is what life I all about - experiencing it and treating yourself with it.

Not only that but listening to iPod via iPhone - Steve Jobs leave a legacy!
