I sort of moved in to my new apartment. Basically I stayed a night. It was cold, I've yet to find all the controls for the heating and the boiler.(this morning was quite an awakening!!) never the less, I decided to use my sleeping bag and just get to know the new place, stuck the speakers into the iPod and watched some BBC. I think because if the 3 trips I made back and forth to the apartment I had become incredible tired and quite happily retreated to lala land without a hitch, waking to the sound my alarm music. I wondered around a bit kind of just finding out what the heck to do: Work clothes, done. wax in hair, done. brush teeth, done. travel card, done, ID card done... I finally left the apartment, closed the door behind me, looked back through the corridor as I left the building. A building confidence resonated through my as I walked to the station, cars roaring by, people concerned only with their individual lives, too busy to know or think of mine, or how mine has just started! And that's was a great feeling!

Got something special the other day when a family member came to visit me from home - Twinkies. I was transported to back home, which was great for a while now I'm thinking where to buy these tasty treats in London. Thanks you know who you are!!

Went to the company Christmas party recently. It was in Battersea. Venue called Evolution. So so cool. Huge and they had live performances and everything. Really liked being wined and dined.
