I wonder if there is any chance you'd pass out on the way down - in as much as the impact of you and the earth will be undetectable because you'd be to slow to wake and feel the impact of death. I doubt anyone would survive a fall like this. I wonder how long it would take to reach the earth. Probably in the region of about 1-2 minutes. I'd imagine if you're awake throughout the fall, perhaps the first 1 minute is pure dread and disorientation. The second might be a realisation of unavoidable death.Wonder what the importance of thought would be in your mind in that last minute. Surely it must be the most useless thoughts for they mean nothing and will never be shared. Perhaps you'd still be in constant fear and dread with no time to think. Passing out would be better. Even better still is having your seatbelt on when the window blows out or sitting in the aisle seat(probably still with your seatbelt on methinks). Best case scenario would be obviously be where no windows blow out during the flight. If there were to be a gunshot in the airplane, I'd hope they'd not hit a window, as it might blow out.
