That said, had they been relocated from their homelands - I'd protest for their return to allow them to return to whatever they do on the Arctic. That's an interesting thought: what's the purpose of a penguin? What does a Penguin think about?
What drives a penguin to wake up each day, in the freezing and go about its day? I wonder what a penguin thinks about this? It seems appropriate to draw a parallel with my life. What's the purpose of a Human's life? Perhaps we focus on the wrong questions.
Perhaps there is no answer to these questions. Just because they are questions, doesn't mean they have answers: if you ask a ballet dancer what default copy constructor he/she uses - there would not be an answer to that question. Ask it to a programmer and they will give you answer, or at least a question which leads to an answer. To a ballet dancer, the question doesn't make sense, yields nothing that is even remotely applicable to a ballet dancer, thus the question has no answer. The ballet dancer can't even say yes or no, she/he doesn't even know what a valid or invalid answer would be. Perhaps it's questions that are not applicable that are a fools errand to solve. Why force an answer to something that is unaware of it to begin with?
Perhaps we don't have a purpose or the concept of purpose is not applicable to human life. Penguins perhaps don't have a purpose in the sense we think a purpose ought to be for a Penguin.
Some things are not applicable, like what is the purpose of a penguin's life?
