Walked from work yesterday, in the sun, slops, shorts and a t-shirt. It took me in excess of two hours to get home.
I just strolled. Pulled into a Starbucks midway through and bought a ice cold drink and nursed it all the way back to Waterloo. As I walked back past a grassed embankment, I noticed what I thought was everyone looking at me. They weren't but I thought that. I had a quick look at myself to see I didn't have a trailing piece of toilet paper under my foot or something...I didn't.

Walking along the Thames is really beautiful. There was a lot of preparations going on for the Olympics happening in less than a week now. Saw what must have been two South African athletes around London Bridge area - they had national colour track suits on and I know how track suit colours are the way we represent ourselves...I had to buy a few while participating in national tournaments when I was a kid. Some things never change. Was expensive as I remember.

Eitherway, when I got to Wimbledon, I saw that Batman - The dark night rises, was showing in 5 minutes. I thought, heck and bought a ticket and went to watch it. It was awesome. That's all I have to say about that. I think I'll be walking home again today. This weeks sunshine should not be missed and is pretty much what fuelled my walk yesterday and will again today. I might run but this is becoming more and more less likely if I run with someone today, if I run by myself then I could probably get by... After all I was born in the sunshine, right?

Got home pretty late, 23:47 exactly or somewhere around there, headed into the local 24 hour Tesco petrol station, bought some stuff for my then midnight snack, got home, whipped up a set of rolls. Consumed them. Engulfed them. Put them away.

Went to bed.
