It's been a crazy last couple of days with this week being the busiest in months. I've been to bed after 1am for the last two days.

It's all got todo with work buy ironically I've learned the most about various enigmatic subsystems of the product we're writing which is good because stress combined with knowing, understanding and enjoyment is OK.

Yesterday was beautiful day and so will be today. Some people have said it a mini-heatwave and other speculation but whatever it is, it's great. Probably haven't experience a better summer in England until this year, 2011.

Was going to head our for a run Yeaterday but figured that I'd not rested enough to warrant stress out my body more than it was already.

Some pretty sucky news is that a work collegue is leaving which is particularly bad because he took a lot of responsibility in defusing situations, completing sentenced and generally setting a fun atmosphere - which took the load of me to deliver this. Anyway.

Watched sone TV last night, just chilled out on my sofa-bed in an attempt to rest - which was good, whipped up a super dinner which consisted of a portion of Mango(vitamin C), Tuna fish in lettuce with a few cherry tomatoes fumbling about in the bowl. Had that with a Greek salad dressing and that tasted real good. Point is, I wanted to stock myself up with a bit of meat/fish and generally do a good meal instead of running(down to the gym) which I wanted to do but thought better if it.

Today's going to be another scorcher and I pretty much was sweaty and muggy in my jeans so today I've decided to head into work with Shorts, which is something I don't usually do but I figured, whats the point of feeling uncomfortable, if anything that makes working less enjoyable and I'm all about practicality. If it's hot, don't wear a ski jacket - that sorta thing. That said, days of having to wear a blazer in the classroom until given permission(which we usually got) to take them off, comes to mind. Initially Impractical but ordered, I suppose.

Watched a bit of the Isle of wight festival, two episodes of a recorded series of Mount Pleasant and The Simpsons. I was resting :-)

Today was pretty cool, took an awesome walk to get lunch - it's was superbly sunny and warm. Trained someone in CSG(customer solutions group) on AppTitude which I find really enjoy which was good because my brain was on a sabbatical today and I couldn't find solutions to anything - was programmers block. Essentially the issues are not specifically language or hardcore programming issues more logical and theoretical ones: figuring out how to do something within the constraints of the existing framework or procedures, adhering to "how things are usually done" when specifically you're not absolutely certain how things are usually done. This has prompted me to do things the best way I can figure. Frustrating thing is I suppose is firstly, not getting it right and secondly wasting time trying.

I had a good sushi session for lunch and had wasabi pulsating through my nostrils at times which was not fun but I love experiencing it wierdly enough. I had a super-food shaker and generally took the healthy approach, not only that but i was concious not to have sugar(artificial or natural) in my coffee but that went all "tits-up" when a collegue bought in sweets and made them invitingly available.

Usually I eat what I want when I want, sometimes I even forget to eat altogether but the more I train the more the ideas that if you put good stuff in you get good stuff out. Same goes for sleeping and resting. So I'm a bit picky right now on food and so a limited degree sleeping. Training is not a problem or chore - I love running and working out.
