I woke up this morning in a weird mood. It might have been because for the millionth time, that confounded 2nd alarm that goes off in the morning on my running watch. I've been wanting to turn it off permanently but it escapes my how simply it eludes me.

I heard a great expression the other day while watching House, referencing free time: "All I want to do is sit in front of the TV in my underwear eating my dinner". Is that too much to ask? I think not.

Walked past the local pub, on my towards South Wimbledon station and saw reference to two expressions I used because they make me smile generally: "Holy Moley!" which has a certain innocence about it and "Flipping 'eck!" which I've ever only enjoyed hearing said by a Northerner or a manchurian. I think I will say both at least twice today.

My next study module has filtered it's way through to me and I should be scheduled to get cracking next week when it officially begins. Kinda enjoying Java...but then again I always have: I remember me sitting in the back of the car traveling down to my uncles place in the south of Africa and reading the Sun java tutorial all the way there. it must have been a 5 hour journey. I enjoyed it then and I'm enjoying it now.

Rain flummoxed the experts yesterday and even I was caught in the rain heading home, even my barometer was left nursing a battered ego.

The sketch of Mr bean reaching for his imaginary gun has just creeped into my as I imitate that movement to scratch an itch on my side, under my jacket/coat...I'm somewhat amused by that picture.

I've been recently, rather strangely, reading a work colleague's book during lunch about various fascinating scientific possibilities yet not possible. Read about the concepts of building force fields etc... really out of this world but not completely impossible. But I'm rather bored with the concept now and it only seems to be certain days that I feel the need to leave the present and emerge myself into an hour of reading: I have to be in a certain mood. Not in the mood today.

The image is me eating candy floss, first time in years. Re-experiencing the sensation was great.
