Just had a cool dinner with a mate from a company I used to work for about a year and half ago. It is so good to catch up and see how things have progressed and even better was just enjoying and sharing a good conversation about stuff.

What was particularly interesting was explaining what's new and what's happening and what's happened between the time we worked together and the present. Also, what was kinda cool was actually slightly missing the social interaction, work ethic and general atmosphere that we worked out for ourself, based on out characters and obviously that sensation was temporarily revived and it was great deja vu.

Chatted about where we are in life, what we've learnt since moving on and how much still we enjoy laughing about junk together!

I also told my story about my massage mishap the 2nd today and both times people appreciated my predicament and found it pretty funny so I'm kinda working off the denial slowly but surely and it's been a real good exercise. I'm slowly regaining my confidence with each laugh I give to someone.

Had a bit if difficulty figuring out exactly which pub was a perfect combination of can-sit and eat and noisy and over populated. Finally we chose a outdoor restaurant as the location to dive right into the past years happenings. I grabbed a pretty standard burger and a smoothie that went down real well.

Also, I shunned off my 2nd alcoholic beverage in favour of a non-alcoholic alternative with great success - it also help if no one else it drinking alcohol. We chatted for almost 3 hours which was did justice to the meet-up.

it was actually quite liberating to be able to just chill out in the middle of the city, after work and just not stress about getting home at a certain time etc.. and I kinda enjoyed the night-life and atmosphere of having people around yet, apart from them.

Its now almost midnight, 11pm, and I'm still on the train, which is a bit weird because I'm normally at home already but its just so cool to just hang out, with no string attached.

Need to do that again, so good for my psyche.
