Citrix XenDesktop App-V integration

As part of the App-V team at Citrix, my role was to enable the deployment of App-V packages In XenDesktop.

As part of the App-V team at Citrix, my role was to enable the deployment of App-V packages In XenDesktop.

This included adding features such as Connection Groups(Citrix Isolation Groups) and rearchitecting solution the VDA to remove dependance on COM. This was achieved by replacing the COM server with a native Windows service. I was also responsible for fixing bugs.

This role was C# and PowerShell focused with SQL on the backend.

All in all, this solution in XenDesktop managed life-cycle of App-V package on the server(VDA) and coordinated tasks sent from the broker service on the Delivery Controller.
