So I'm standing here on the platform waiting for my train and the thought of Zimbabwe and Mugabe pops into my mind. Initially I started thinking about what he must be like as a person, a father and husband and thinking surely he must be a devoted and dedicated person in this respect. Why I think I started this train of thought(see that pun?) was because I was meddling with the thought of a Zimbabwe without him. Would it undergo a miraculous positive change which is so fundamental that his absence could warrant it.

I was thinking essentially of the possibility of him being removed from government and one extreme would be assassination, another would be a coup or essentially a change in attitude and will of the people of Zimbabwe. I empathised with Mugabe if one considers death to be an option because not only is murder fundamentally wrong but it's even more so when he might be a decent father/parent or uncle or whatever.

You will argue that death and murder in this respect is OK because of the countless deaths and murders that will be at his hand in the future. Capture and imprisonment sound like better, more humane alternatives. Because if we kill him, we are no better than him essentially.
