Had a hugely unproductive day today. Stupidly unproductive. I just looked at stuff today and was like "...huh, what?". dunno what it is, just didn't click today I suppose. Maybe it was the whole bank holiday thing but normally that doesn't affect me, nor should it.

Sorta halfway through the day I got a headache and well, it just lingered most of the day. Now thinking about it, I think it's down me not eating today, apart from 2 packets of chips and a strawberry milkshake. Pretty silly.
That'd explain it.

I watched the world championship athletics today on my iPhone, pirched rather geekingly in front of my keyboard , maybe that explains my distraction and lack of cohesion today. That said, it was great to watch live TV, especially athletics which I love watching. Looking forward to watching the 200/400m finals on Thursday. Usain Bolt will be running.

Also, I was struck with a thought on the tube today(which is strange with my distinct lack of capacity to think today). The thought came into being when I saw I White iphone on the tube. I immediately thought about my iPhone which was black. Then took cognisance of the fact that there were only two colours that the iPhone came in. This might seem trivial but over the weekend I saw coloured, 3rd part modified versions of the phone in blue, pink with diamonds etc...I'm not talking about the covers, I'm talking about the engineered cases.

Why the colours black and White? Thinking about it further, one is the total opposite of the other. one is defined as the lack of light;black and the other as the excess of light;White.

So why the preference of White or Black? Why not green or blue? is there any reason besides liking black and white that makes these two colours more desirable than other colours?

Like Green, red and orange are all essentially inbetween black and white, they make up the spectrum and it seems to ne that essentially that black and white are the two extremes of the colour spectrum and are the purest of colours. Is it because they are the simplest and most contrasting colours to each other and compared to any other colour that they are distinctly unique, apparent and common. Does this make these colours more desirable then? dunno.

Anyway, I'm determined to get tomorrow off to a flying start :-)
