Todays post starts with an unusual thought about the thousands of people who went to war being ready to give up their lives. Got me thinking about how ones outlook on life is when you 'become' ready to die. Interesting thought because to come to this conclusion, one needs to know that you will die and that's ok by you. What an exceptional realisation. It makes me think that to come to this conclusion you really need have dim view of your life or so bright that that the very thought of the future of life, like the one you lead is too important and must be conserved for those that you love - at your expense.

It's an intense thought and an intense decision.

Anyway besides that, I've been playing with sharemyplaylist.com to find new, alternative music. Its been great, found an awesome playlist to sleep to, rolling stones top 500 songs and countless other alternative playlists. Couldn't be exposed to that range of music a couple if years ago. For me, listening to new music is a relief, like reading a new book...but shorter and as exciting.

Had a great day yesterday at work. everything worked but I imagine I'll have to break something soon enough :-)

Started thinking about taking the conscious decision to start reading sine of the unread books that I know are interesting(why I bought them) but not read yet. Crazy really.

Skipped the gym last night, started raining and by blisters on my heels were convincing enough - pity because I was just to head out and then the thought of me running in my running shoes with blisters, turned me right off.

Got a little bored though at work yesterday(one of the disadvantages of not breaking things) and I found myself sniffing through the latest T3 magazine which had an article on how the world, technology and pretty everything that's progressive has progressed because of of the advances pornography. What a strange thought. Obviously this is not accurate but it was an interesting read to see how much that industry really has been helped and helps technology in the mainstream. That kinda got boring halfway but not before I found some interesting facts: approximately $3000 is spent on porn every second I. America, every half an hour, a porn flick is being created and more interesting is that the US state of Illinois, per head is consumes the more porn. Whats going down in Illinois?

Made my first peanut butter and jam sandwich, since being in the UK last night. I pretty much could live off that stuff to be honest. Actually there is a thought. How much nutritional value does it have and could it sustain a growing 24 year old man...I'll need to visit the Internet oracle.

I learnt a cool word on the weekend. Frat-boy. It was used in an article describing how new nature documentaries are showing how hosts follow in the footsteps of Steve Irwin and piss animals off. The author describes them with a combo multi syllable insult. Frat OU was one of those.
